Its aaaaalive
Well, the new PC works. It wasn't quite as easy as it looked - why make a power switch that hard to find?! *headhand*
But I have most of the essential software loaded and I have restored everything from backup. Including my mail archive which took a bit of sweating to get Thunderbird to pick it all up. I suppose I still have many days of going through, turning off all the "helpful and friendly" features that they have added to more recent windows versions.
