The final front ear

Yet another story about extra-solar planets. There seem to have been a lot of these lately. I am so not complaining. In fact this seems like a good time to note that the next Phoenix SF meeting will feature a guest speaker from the Carter Observatory talking about just those extra-solar planets. If you are in Wellington on Wednesday the 11th Oct, why not come along - it is free. It is at Turnbull house, Bowen st at 7.30pm.

Time to go get ready to head into Wellington for my weekly book buying expedition. I wonder if any of my regular pushers will let me put up a poster for the above event.

Hiya -

Saw this post and thought I'd ask, is the meeting still on for tomorrow night? Did not see it updated on the Phoenix site, which made me wonder. I do plan to be there. The guest speaker / topic sounds really interesting
