Deep breath

I am putting my Buffy/Angel marathon on hold for a while. After 144 episodes (end of s5/2) I am starting to slow down - I need a break to raise energy for s6. Also, the reading questions over on [livejournal.com profile] benpeek's blog have reminded me that I am neglecting my reading which means the to-be-read pile is growing.

well you made it further in than I did - i slowed at the beginning of season 2 and got exceedingly distracted with new shiny dvds.

i too have been left with guilt after his post. I need to take my dad's advice and put aside a couple of hours a week for reading instead of TV.

I had the advantage (if it can be called that) of a week off work sick. Once my head could handle the volume, I pretty much watched these series all day.

Shiny new always trumps rewatching - I only had the Wallace & Gromit movie to distract me.

well.. you made good progress, nonetheless.

Shiny new is very good. And i have so so so much of it ....

If it upsets you, you know there are friends who will dispose of shiny new and leave you with less choice. Noble, unselfish, self-sacrificing friends.

Make that innocent, well-meaning, noble, unselfish, self-sacrificing and TV addicted friends. Did I leave anything out this time?
