threemonkeysEvery so often you see stuff like this from NASA. Proposing to go back to the moon by 2018. That is 13 years. It only took 8 or so to go from no space programme or expertise to the first moon landing. I know that a lot is about funding and political will but really! - harrumph.
That is annoying but worse is that this isn't the first announcement like this. NASA or the US government makes some "back to the moon" or "go to Mars" announcement and then nothing happens. Then there is another announcement. Don't announce it, just do it!
