Black relief
Jan. 25th, 2006 06:48 pmFrom my desk, I can see southerly storm fronts as they approach from the south. Seldom have I looked forward to one and urged it to hurry as much as I did today. The humidity was stifling, exacerbating my asthma which has been giving me a little grief recently. Once the black clouds arrived, I was able to think properly again.
In theory I might have even been able to do some productive work. In practice, the combination of an empty space on the wall, the apod site archives, the ms-publisher calendar wizard and a good colour printer meant that my accomplishments for the day were more trivial but rather satisfying.
