The "time left" counter on my download continues to go upwards, so I guess I have time to record an update. Not that there is much to tell. Humidity, asthma, allergies and boring work have left me in maintenance mode. I.e. sleep-work-eat-repeat. Emphasis on the sleep - when they say non drowsy on the antihistamine box, don't believe it. I have had no energy to socialise or even read much. On the plus side, I am much better today. I almost feel human. Human enough to follow up on Hex - a series which never made it here and nobody seems to know about. Hence the download.

The humidity is horrid. Fortunately my allergies haven't flared up much this year. They were much worse in Auckland; I had to have medical treatment for them up there. Here in Wellington I don't have nearly as much trouble.

The humidity tempts you to sleep naked on top of the bed. This is not a good idea when you have cats, particularly a cat like Harpo who likes to hunt things that twitch in the night...

I suspect that the allergies have been exacerbated by my attacks on the ivy. Robin's warning about the amount of dust they contain was a valid one.

*wince* I wouldn't contemplate sleeping in Harpo's presence at all, let alone naked. What a frightening thought.
