Coke Zero has hit the local shops at last. So your intrepid reported took it upon himself to investigate. The beverage in question was purchased, chilled and consumed. And the verdict? It tastes like real coke.

But this reporter was not satisfies to leave it there. The real test is to see how well it works as a mixer - something diet coke fails badly with. It works and not only that it works well. Your intrepid reported has acquired a mild buzz.

Editorial policy suggests finding appropriate company to do this properly.

Did they achieve similar results?

I did intend to be there, but as mentioned in previous posts, hay fever & asthma in this humid weather has been keeping me down.

Sort of, there wasn't much to go around as there was only 1 bottle and everyone decided to try it. A few people thought it was a bit tastless and doesn't have the same bite normal coke does. We also weren't able to test it as a mixer, as this was a party at Norman's place so there were only a couple of bottles of wine someone had made a point of bringing along to ensure there was at least *some* alchol there! :)

[shrugs]I don't know, I don't drink beer, which is how come there's some still left. The chocolate is all long gone, yum.
