Wouldn't being a cosmo-topologist be a great job? I would so love to be the person who suggested that the universe is a dodecahedron. This isn't recent news, but I wanted to share it because I have always thought that the Platonic and Archimedian solids were huge fun.

Those were two fascinating articles.
But the series on Platonic and Archimedian solids would have been so much more comprehensible if it had included diagrams or pictures - what are an elongated gyrobirotunda and an antiprism? High school geometry didn't touch on these shapes.
