threemonkeysI finally got to see the third Harry Potter movie. A colleague lent me the DVD. That is the same manner I saw the first movie as well. I can't quite account for my reluctance to see these movies. The books are certainly worth the read and yet I can't really make the effort for the film versions. Yes I know that the first two movies were bland efforts more interested in spectacle and blind following the book than making a real movie. However all the reviews and feedback of this one were much better and yet I still didn't rush to see it. Strange.
As it happens I agree with all the other assessments - a much better movie and a worthy rendition of the book.
