Starting up with this blog has achieved one of the objectives I set for myself. I have just submitted my first article to Phoenixine in about a year - its about my recent encounters with Australian short fiction publishing. However I have no idea if it will create a regular resumption of these articles. At the moment it is much more satisfying to just write small bits every day right here. It remains to be seen.

Another of the aims is to make my writing better. See what I aspire to - this is what the Bearded Triffid wrote about our trip to Australia.
