I have for you a tale so strange you will not believe it. You will scoff and cry it is impossible. And yet I say to you that it really happened. It goes something like this...

I requested an adsl upgrade from my ISP.
The sent a friendly greeting email with all the steps and timings.
They delivered the hardware & software pack when they said they would.
I installed the hardware and software without any problems.
They activated the adsl connection at the exchange when they said they would and notified me when it was done.
I started up my computer and it all worked first time at the performance level promised.

I promise, it actually happened.
