There is a tradition of English quiz shows where getting the answers right is less important than the wit of the contestants. This goes back to the radio days of My Word if not before. netzl has given me a pile of episodes of QI - Stephen Fry fronting yet another one. Oh dear, my time is lost - I won't get my evenings back until I have seen them all.
