Its a common phenomenon. Buy something and then the next day or week you see it much cheaper. It happens to me all the time. A consequence of my "gotta have that" mentality. Just for a change I got it right today. I have been thinking of buying Jonathan Lethem's The Fortress of Solitude but keep procrastinating. Dymocks started a sale today and there is the trade edition of the book priced at 10 bucks. When I went to pay, I handed over my loyalty card and the machine fed out a voucher for a free book in response. Double joy. Of course there is just the matter of getting the book read. The "to read" shelf is accumulating books a lot faster than I am reading them at the moment. The physical shelf is actually full - I'm creating piles in front of it of the "must read soon" titles. Still, its a long weekend with a lousy weather forecast - I see some potential for progress.
