My GP is a nice chap - he listens to what I have to say and explains his diagnosis and prescriptions clearly - heck he even runs an evening surgery on Mondays which is very convenient. But he does conform to a couple of cliches. One is more amusing than anything - his handwriting is atrocious - even worse than mine if that is possible. Luckily, prescriptions come out of the computer these days so it isn't really an issue. But the other cliche is that there is always a wait to see him. This evening it was half an hour. On occasion I have got the first appointment of the day and still had to wait. What is it about the time management of GPs that causes this?
