That can't be good

threemonkeysComing home tonight and turning the corner towards my house and what did I see. Two fire engines right outside my house blocking the driveway. Not a good sight for the heart rate I can tell you.
Not quite as bad as it seems. It isn't a fire its a flood. And even more important, it isn't my place. I share a driveway with my neighbour. They had a burst pipe which spread water everywhere through the house. I went round to see if there was anything I could do to help, but they had things under control because this was their second flood like this in the last year. Who says lightning never strikes twice in the same place. I am going to feed their pets for a few days because they are going to have to move into a motel for a while.
One slightly disturbing thing for me is that their house was built at the same time as mine - different builder but part of the same development. So there is a pretty good chance that my water pipes are the same type as theirs. I really should check that.
