There is a live action Aeon Flux movie! I'm quite certain it will be awful in a way that mere adjectives cannot adequately cope with. But I will still go see it. I'm just surprised that its almost due for local release and I hadn't heard it was coming. I'm also surprised it even got a local release (Reading have 5-Jan as the start date).

The shorts have playes in front of a couple of mives I've sen recently (specifically Serenity and Doom).
Charlize Theron as Aeon and Martin Csokas as Trevor Goodchild.
Hopefully not all the good bits are in the trailer as it looks quite reasonable.

Its a fair assumption. The problem for me is that I'm not getting to the cinema anywhere near as much as I should. E.g. I missed Sin City and Batman Begins and despite best intentions have not gone back to see Serenity (gasp).

In any case, I usually find out what is coming up by checking the listings, so its all my fault that I missed knowing about it - the "somebody" was myself.

Thanks for that. It seems to have the right look and when it comes to Aeon Flux, that is a big chunk of the appeal.
