Scrape

Now I know why I have a tow bar on my car. It prevented damage to the rear bumper when trying to do a turn in a driveway - always a risk in the steeper suburbs. The nasty scraping sounds of towbar on tarmac happened as I was leaving michealchance's after a little birthday food action. I had to leave early because the painkillers wore off. I have had a serious headache - hoping I'm not coming down with something yet again. My immune system needs rebuilding. Still the party was nice for the small time I was there.

I hope you're feeling better by now :) I think the main thing you missed was my flatmate & his brother getting "cheerful" on beer & trying to tell jokes...

Not better, worse I'm afraid - have been off work all week. I have heard those two try to tell jokes when merry - they find them funny.

Well, I do hope you get better quickly. Actually, I think most of the people at my party had had enough to drink by that point in time to find at least some of their jokes amusing.
