How to lose friends and influence people

1. Spoil the tranquillity of a peaceful sunny Sunday morning by making a lot of unnecessary noise.
2. Put a bunch of un-addressed circulars in my "No circulars please" letterbox.
3. Make a disturbance on the side of SH2 during rush hour, causing the traffic to be slowed to a crawl.
All the above were committed against me by political parties during the last few days. The circulars one is most interesting because it was only performed by those parties which trumpet their environmental credentials most. Putting their non-recyclable rubbish in my mailbox when I am trying to keep my trash volumes down does nothing to convince me of their cause.
I am interested in politics but I am so sick of this election campaign. Luckily, only a few days to go.
