Just in case any of you are interested, I am not going to get to Continuum 4. This is the big down side of not being employed - no income. Unexpected expenses for my car and a few other things have more than taken away the fund set aside for this trip - even with the kind accommodation offers to help keep the costs down. Of course I could just say "to hell with it" and make the trip anyway but that isn't who I am. There is also a comfort issue - I really need to lose some weight to travel more easily in an economy class seat. I lost some weight leading up to Conflux (and it was still pretty bad) but the bad weather and injuries mean I have put it back on again because I have not been getting enough exercise.

Pretty much my thoughts when this realisation came. I have been trying to find a way to make it happen but my schemes came to nothing.
