My Petone book report

threemonkeysIt is in the nature of Petone that the shop which specialises in cat related ornaments also sell secondhand books. So does the used furniture place. There is just the one dedicated secondhand book place. It also seems in keeping with the nature of Petone that I found the following today on their shelves
-An Octavia Butler book shelved in the detective fiction
-A Charles de Lint fantasy in general fiction
-A Gerald Durrell book on the sf/fantasy shelves.
These are not isolated cases either. Nor do I think it is a deliberate ploy to make you look around the shop - the guy who runs it just does not know any better.
To complete the Petone book picture I should note that there is a store which only sells new books about food and cooking.
