Ooh, it's working!

My Internet connection has been down all day - it took about 20 tries to get it working this time. Thank you auto-redial. I suspect water in the phone lines - it used to be a regular problem years ago and all the noise through the phone seems to confirm it. Not surprising if it made a comeback given the amount of rain this year. Don't be surprised if I am quiet for the next few days.

Mine's intermittent at best. I take it your home hasn't slipped down a hill? The garage at my brother's place in Huntsbury, Christchurch has been demolished by a slip.

Intermittent would be one way of describing it - the polite way.

There was a big slip in Kelson which made the news. Thats the suburb Simon Litten lives in. I'm about three suburbs south along the same geographical feature and I live on a steep section. Worried - who me. :-(
